Bio | Nick Wong

Nick Wong is a Canadian lifestyle and portrait photographer. Through a serendipitous chain of events, Nick started down a path towards a photographic career after being kicked out of his high school Spanish class. He developed his roots in dark room black & white film processes, and his introduction to photography allowed his interest and ability to connect with his peers and strangers alike grow. His visual approach has evolved into a portfolio of images featuring bold cinematic compositions, brightly coloured sun-kissed locations, and intimate studio portraits. The work is recognized as highlighting the moments in between, reinforcing the idea of impending completion and the candid moment. Nick’s clients are varied and include TD Bank, Lululemon Athletica, The Guardian UK, and enRoute Edition Magazine. In 2013, his portrait work was recognized in Applied Arts Photography Annual.
