SPARKS PHOTOGRAPHERS is a new division of SPARKS PRODUCTIONS created and launched by Pamela Hamilton in September, 2009. Pam has played major roles in advertising and photography in Toronto for over a decade. A graduate of the Photographic Arts program at Ryerson, Pam has worked as a gallery Curator, Photographer's Assistant, Producer, and 9 years as Westside Studio's Photographer's Agent. Pam's professionalism has been recognized by the community, having participated as a Portfolio Reviewer for Contact, Toronto's International Photography Festival, a Judge for Lux Quebec and events held by CAPIC. (Canadian Association of Photographers and Illustrators) In 2007, the film business called and Pam answered, deciding to make the leap to motion to become Director's Agent for Sparks Productions. As the advertising industry's needs change, Pam is eager to offer her clients the benefit of her strong knowledge and background in the two worlds of photography and motion. If required Pam combines productions, or takes on projects separately. In addition, she offers her photographers the support of a well-established film production company.
SPARKS PRODUCTIONS was founded in 1991 by Andy Crosbie, President and Executive Producer. Sparks is renowned for producing high-end television commercials, and has received several prestigious awards. Sparks has endeavoured to provide Canadian advertising agencies with a diverse roster of vastly talented directors, who range from newcomer to experienced and who's styles cross all spectrum of genres and techniques. Sparks maintains ongoing production relationships with production houses throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Europe and beyond, while continuing to renew its commitment to fostering Canadian directing talent.
